The beef could pass as beef jerky. Hard dry beef, even the meat tenderizer didnt help. The garden salad was a total of 3 bites with no dressing. Garlic sauce is like a mini mini sample. But they feed you rice and bread for the full week.

The large dining room is stark though clean and functional. So what ? I came for the food which exceeded my already high expectations based on referrals from friends. I've eaten at perhaps hundreds of East Indian, Morrocan, Persian, Afghani, Lebanese, and other Arabic restaurants. Choppan's food an assortment of Afghani and East Indian dishes is among the best I've had. And plates are generous. Bonus !
