Although the fish tacos were a bit dry for some at our table (likely just a one-time occurrence), everyone else enjoyed their meals.
The nachos were decent, but not my top choice. The water bottle and cups appeared to be not properly cleaned or dried after washing, as there were visible water droplets. However, the customer service was excellent.
The restaurant has a wonderful outdoor area with ample seating, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink.
Food was great with large portions and our server was phenomenal. Only reason for the slightly lower review is the lack of change table in the washroom and the style of high chair (only a lap belt which was very loose and couldn’t go tight enough to properly secure a baby). But if you aren’t bringing a baby then this is the place to go!!Kid-friendliness: No change table, poor high chair designParking: It’s downtown Kitchener so parking is around but you have to find it.
The quality of service at this Kitchener location has really gone down the drain. I'd give a 1-star if it weren't for the food. We ordered a spicy beef pizza, which was decent and filling, really lived up to the spice! However, the service was absolutely horrible. Took 10 mins to get a table even though it wasn't super busy. Once seated, the server didn't come for another 20 mins to take our food order. The bartender came by to take our drinks because the server was taking so long. The food arrived and we still didn't have plates, napkins or water. It was raining and we requested the server to be seated under the larger covered patio area. She was very rude and said no, you can't move the tables and you'd be just as wet as where you're seated right now. A few mins later, another family came and there was no hesitation in pulling the tables together under the same spot where we were told no. Can't help but wonder why the discrimination? Totally absurd in this day and age. Really would suggest they vet well who they employ, safe to say we'll not be returning.
