A Dish Called Wanda - Kitchener

My wife had the meat lover's omellette and I had the country skillet and coffees. The meal came to our table in very short order. Presentation on both plates was very good. The food was excellent tasting and all was gone in a short order. Very good selection of packages of jam assortment at the table. Coffee was good tasting. Very good service.

Nineteen of us went here for breakfast on a Wed am at 10 (August 9/17). They had a table set up for us. The service was excellent, friendly and fast for a group that size. Bottomless coffee and tea and they came around very frequently. The $6 special was very, very good. The best breakfast potatos I've had in a very long time. Loads of parking too. Highly recommend this little neighbourhood eatery.

There were 3 of us who arrived at noon to a restaurant that had a few empty tables. We grabbed a booth and waited til the one and only server cleared our table and gave us menus. I ordered the BLT wrap with fries. The poor server was looking after everyone as best she could but the wait was longer than should be over the lunchtime. When my wrap was brought to the table, the server immediately noticed that there was no cheese on it. She took it back to the kitchen. When it arrived back at my table, the cheese was present, but the fries were cold. I have ordered this before and was very happy but must say this time, overall not happy. Not sure why the restaurant was so short on staff, but the customers should not be penalized by getting cold fries served. I will give them another chance but if there is a repeat, won't venture back.

Monday,June,19,2017 was my first time eating here and it was great! the food was delicious, the service was great.. restaurant clean and Wanda was very friendly and took the time to chat with us. Will definitely be returning to try different meals on the menu. Thank You Wanda.

I love the intimate decor of this restaurant. The staff are so pleasant and fast to accommodate.I had the homemade Schnitzel Sandwich. It was a nice think piece of pork with a great seasoned sauerkraut on top. A side salad finished off my plate and was really nice.
