Eating here will certainly leave shoulders with locals also, it is a popular lunch / dinner / late night spot, especially with the older crowd.
Very popular place Various types of meals noodles, fried food, desserts and fish cakes were really delicious
Excellent simple noodle soup and very reasonable price. You can point to pictures to order, though the male server speaks some English. Must try the fine kelp in your soup. We more likely will be back to try rice dishes.
Went to this place to try the goboten udon . The udon itself is pretty good, and the tempura (the fried batter) is nice and crunchy as well. But the gobo itself (the vegetable root) is a bit bland.
Good simple place for quality udon, however there is no English menu. You press a button ln the board in front of you to call for the staff so you can place your order. The noodles were well textured and the beef was very sweet and flavourful. The tempura bamboo shoots were crunchy and fantastic as well. The soup is the weakest part of the dish but by no means bad, it is still plenty good.
