This restaurant at Orange Lake Resort in the West Village was spectacularly delicious. It should be noted that our family and I went a little later than the traditional lunches so that the waiting times were not too long and the seats were more available. We must choose where we sat, so we decided to sit by the pool, on a small platform (not inside but not outside). Our waiters were very nice, polite and friendly. The only thing a little disappointing was the attention of the waiter after the order. We received our drinks, then ordered, then another person brought us our food (with a huge smile). Shortly afterwards the waiter came and checked how we did, then he brought the check the next time. A member on our table had to ask for a drink when they brought the check because they did not visit us again. The food was really great! We ordered onion rings as an appetizer, but we wish we had bought another order (because you only got a few, and they were good). The onions were large and soft, while the outside bread was golden, crunchy and crispy. The American burger was a mouthwater standard grilled and carburized burgers. The toppings were fresh and the rolls were soft. The fries with the burger were excellent. Golden outer crust with a flakey and soft inside, with a beautiful spiced mix to distribute it. The spicy chicken sandwich was also good. It came with Coleslaw who had a refreshing taste. The chicken itself was quite mild and was quite dry without the sauce. By adding the buffalo-like hot sauce, however, it was better to jump and borders than without. The sauce is spicy, but it is a beautiful kind of spices, nothing like a ghost pepper, but just a little hotter than a jalapeno. It is really a beautiful balance of heat, especially with a refreshing drink (of course your choice optional). I was told that the Fatuccini alfredo was also really good. I can't tell you how it tastes, but I can tell you it was done in about 5 minutes. It's not the biggest part, but if it doesn't taste good, it would have been sitting there longer! It comes with a breadstick that was “Okay”. The seafood Paella that was told me was good. The paella came with rice, shrimps and shells along with several additional temples. Again I was told that it was really good, but I can't testify to the taste profile so you have to try it for yourself! You can check the food mentioned with the attached pictures! By going to a non-traditional time, we have avoided a lot of trouble with any waiting time, tired staff, limited seating and crowded atmosphere. Everything was wonderfully tasteful and wonderful! It was also nice to sit on the veranda so that we could see the pool and the sun without suffering in the heat, because it was a light breeze / shed. Our family and I will visit this place again! I encourage you to try this place yourself.
Chicken sandwich was pretty good. Children's meal should come with a drink. Salad was okay. A little expensive but friendly what you would expect for a resort.
A little wait for lunch, but it's worth it. Sallie made a good recommendation and we loved the spiced Pommes and the burger tasted like summer when there is something like that. It was perfectly cooked. We had a corner table overlooking the pool, shook us and a nice breeze came over.
The bar is perfect! Excellent staff....Miriam, Angel, Kyle, Craig, Arby and Amber made our stay here be so wonderful. I feel like they are family now. Jessica and Steve were also great. And I can't forget how fun Danny is! Hopefully I didn't forget any of the people that made it such a great vacation!! Thanks again to the Breezes bar staff. BTW, the food is really good too!!!
