Ford's Garage Kissimmee

Our server, Crystal, really went the extra mile to make our dining experience exceptional. We were celebrating our eldest son's birthday, and it turned out to be a perfect celebration. The food was not only delicious but also exceeded our expectations. As a vegetarian, I found the vegetarian burger to be fantastic. Additionally, the restaurant offered an affordable kids' menu with excellent food choices, making it very family-friendly.

The restaurant has a really cool atmosphere, featuring a fantastic vintage car theme. Both the food and service were excellent! I was definitely intrigued by the Jiffy burger (which has peanut butter), but I opted for the incredibly tasty Brisket Ranchero Roadster instead and substituted the brisket with chicken breast. Upon entering, they explained their commission-based tipping system, which adds 20% to the bill. It clarifies how tips are distributed: your server keeps almost all of it, with just a small percentage shared with bar staff and bussers. I appreciate this approach, as most other places tend to split tips among everyone.

On a positive note, the burgers were cooked correctly, but the fries could have been fresher and less heavily seasoned, and the burgers themselves were a bit on the salty side. The highlight of our meal was definitely the Key Lime Pie. The new server we received was much better, and the manager handled the situation appropriately. However, we noticed one of the servers at another table asked if they had received their food, which highlights a flaw in their service model that seems to excuse inadequate service. As a result, we decided not to leave extra tips.

After eating here quite a few times we decided to book and celebrate a birthday for our grandsons friend. We were quite excited as it was the first time Caiden had been to the Ford garage. After placing our order for starters and mains everything came out to be served together. The waitress took the mains back in so once they came back out they they were cold. The burgers buns were greasy and soggy, the burgers were full of grease and fat. They charge a 20% tip which is added to your bill so I feel the staff have a careless and unfriendly manner as they know they will receive the tip. The restaurants are expensive for what they are and can honestly say it was such a bad experience we won’t be returning.

To start we got the sesame crusted ahi-tuna. We were surprised to see this dish on the menu but were glad we got it because it was phenomenal. The food overall was amazing and the drinks were crafted to perfection. It was a very busy Sunday night but our server was amazing and everything was brought out in a timely manner. We were even able to bring our puppy to the outdoor seating and they were more than accommodating! Will definitely be back soon.
