El Primo La Casa De Las Alcapurrias

I odered the mafongo with carne frita, empanada de pollo and alcapurria bisexual. Everything smelled and tasted like old grease. Quite disappointing. It has potential, but sadly you can tell they dont change out the grease periodically.

The food was warm, incredibly delicious, and nicely packaged.

The food was too dry, small, and burned, which has been a recurring issue for me lately. It tasted tough and like it had been microwaved.

This restaurant used to be great, but based on the reviews from 2023, it has really declined. The quality is terrible. They've doubled their prices, and the fried pork is mostly fat with hardly any meat. The fish is full of bones, and the fried plantains are greasy. Everything has an unpleasant smell and taste, as if it was cooked in old oil. It's truly disgusting.

They have always had 5 stars from me. This order was not good. The Chicken Cracklings (Chicharrones de Pollo) with Tostones , chicken was dry with no taste, tostones were soggy and side salad was also soggy. The alcapurrias were also soggy and no taste. Its disappointing because they are usually good.
