The coffee was excellent and the homemade cakes were delicious and generous portions. The service was friendly, accommodating and efficient. Will definitely be back for more! Thank you
We stopped off for lunch while passing through Gomersal on a Sunday afternoon and we’re pleasantly surprised that The Dancing House was open. We had a great experience with friendly service and good prices, the chilli jacket special was lovely and tasty as was the Italian meat panini. Will defo be calling if we’re passing again.
Just stopped by chance for a quick lunch- the panini was great- very tasty! Quick service -sat outside in the rear garden- will definitely be returning
This unusual venue used to be another name but the antiques always took priority over the customers. Wow what a fab change. Smiling staff serving lots of tots in the refurbished garden area on a warm day. Interesting new menu with loads of choice meant we did not feel rushed to order. I was able to order a large cafeteria, with choice of coffee strength. My wife her usual pot of tea. Nice crockery. My order of a triple decker sandwich was excellent but my wife's order of boiled eggs and crispy bacon was just brilliant. A first, she eat everything , well nearly everything , I actually had to sneak a taster. Wonderful bap bursting with perfect bacon, no rind or uncooked bits, spot on eggs and clever mix of salad. I may go on but how often are sandwiches mundane. These are superb. The three ladies working here all smiled and made us welcome. An added advantage is the vast range of cakes for afters. I'm a simple scone jam and cream man which helped me to finish my superb coffee.
Met a friend for lunch and wanted somewhere comfortable and could talk, this fitted the bill with really good food and service. Soup was delicious and cakes are to die for plus tea served in bone china. Roaring stove on a wet day with vintage furniture without being twee!
