I ordered takeout, which was delivered in 35 minutes and was delicious! It was also very affordable. I will definitely order again and next time I will dine in.

I called about a month ago to reserve a table for 9 people on Boxing Day, which tends to get very busy. We arrived at 1pm, the time I had requested, but found no one there. After calling the number, I received a call back from a man 20 minutes later. I inquired why the restaurant was closed when we had a reservation, but he promised to call me back. Seven hours later, I still have not received an explanation or even an apology! I used to frequent this place often, but will now be taking my business elsewhere. This is the downside of not being able to book through messenger, as there is no proof of our reservation.

Initially, we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated despite our reservation for 5pm. When our table was finally ready, we were only given 4 poppadoms for a group of eight people. We informed the waiter of the error and mentioned that we were ordering from the Christmas menu. The waiter rudely insisted that we could only choose a main dish and attempted to overcharge us, even though we had a deposit receipt. Overall, it was a terrible experience for our work team looking to celebrate Christmas. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Christmas Eve meal. Staff wearing cute red hats, wishing us all Merry Christmas. Food and service as top notch as ever. We’ve had 2 Christmas Day meals her the last two years. The staff are delightful, kind, warm and welcoming. Food is delicious. Merry Christmas to all the Shama team.
