This is by far the worst tomato pizza me and my family has ever seen and tasted. I was so embarrassed to show up at my family's gathering with this pizza. It was the most soggy piece of dough ever, and the amount of tomato sauce on it we could have boiled pasta and just use the tomato sauce on the pizza to spread on our pasta. We could not hold the pizza with one hand it was so soft and soggy we had to try to hold it in one piece with both hands and still it kept falling apart and making a mess. It's a total embarrassment to call it a pizza, If it be possible I'd give it no Star as it deserve nothing more. Take a few steps south on St-Charles and go get your italian needs at DelMonaco or drive further west to La Trattoria in Kirkland you'll find by far way better pizza and all italian related needs. Enjoy.
We love the service at Cavallaro. They have a wide selection of meats, cheeses and bread products. We go back regularly for a good reason!
Sum it up in three words, (1 service (the friendliest, most helpful and knowledgeable staff , (2 Meats (fresh, with a wide selection and (3 Pizza, (the best thick crust pizza anywhere!! , with most amazing and freshest toppings. The pizza is a go to, for larger gatherings, or an on-the-go for a quick meal choice, lunch, dinner, even the next day ? . Do not pass by without going in. In fact, head to Marche de l’Ouest today.
The people are great, but the produce is not good. Beef salami turned grey then blue the day after, Bersaola very chewy and seemed not well stored, Karnatzels were OK but richer/fattier than usual.60 dollars worth of Bersaola and beef salami ended up n the garbage the second day.
