The food was good, but not exceptional. The spicy rice cakes were slightly better in my opinion, but lacked crispiness on the outside. The flavors on the plate were good, but the texture could be improved. The atmosphere is very casual, where you order at the counter and eat at a table. This restaurant is great for a quick lunch during the workweek or a casual dinner.
Everything we ordered was excellent, but the fried chicken was outstanding. We got the half and half with level 5 seasoning and it was perfect - crunchy, juicy, sweet, and spicy all at once. The pickled radishes served with it added a nice contrast of salty and sour flavors. The maiskäse is a must-try, and the fries and fried noodles make for a great start to the meal. Highly recommended!
I tried the wings and onion rings on this visit. The wings were very hot and crispy, with great flavor. I would have preferred a bit less sauce, but they were still satisfying. Next time, I'll opt for a different flavor. The onion rings were tender, crispy, and delicious, with the batter sticking to each bite. There are many other tempting menu items to try next time.
This is the seafood pancake I have, I think it's better to rent a quality check. the fried chicken is okay. but the pancake is the worst thing I've ever eaten.
I've never been more disappointed in my life... The breading for the original chicken is just.. wrong. I swear it's tempura batter. When it gets cold, it's not even crispy. They didn't even salt it.Forget about the yangnyum chicken. It's spicy, sure. It doesn't taste like anything else though. The texture is terrible too, it's way too gummy.Talk about being let down by the rating ?
