Midori Teriyaki - Kirkland

I ordered the chicken teriyaki, and it was fantastic! The chicken was incredibly flavorful and juicy, and the portion sizes were just right. It far exceeded any other chicken teriyakis I've had in this area. Additionally, the staff member who helped me was friendly and delightful! I highly recommend stopping by for a quick meal.

This restaurant has been owned by the same family for many years, and I’ve consistently had great experiences here. The portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the teriyaki is always succulent. I especially love their spicy chicken teriyaki. While the place may not be upscale, if you’re looking for classic teriyaki instead of some odd, trendy fusion version, this is the spot to visit. It’s definitely one of the best teriyaki restaurants on the Eastside!

I was really let down by this restaurant. The food lacked any flavor. I ordered the chicken stir fry, which had barely any chicken in it; it was mostly just onions and cabbage, and it tasted bland. My dining companion got the chicken teriyaki, and there wasn't any teriyaki sauce on it at all. This place definitely needs to improve the quality and flavor of their dishes, but I won't be returning.

The service was fine but the teryaki was horrible. It was just salted chicken with no sauce. The salad dressing was white sugar with some vinegar on top. They refunded my money. Maybe they they were just having an off day or maybe other things on the menu are good.

The wait was half an hour, and I was the only customer present. The sauces were watered down—at least half water, which was pretty unappetizing. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here. The service was terrible, the wait was long, and the food was disappointing. I ended up returning my salad with the dressing (to go), and they did accept it. Overall, a really unimpressive experience.
