The Tiffin - Kirkcaldy

I highly recommend this restaurant. They serve delicious homemade vegan Indian food that is authentic and incredibly tasty. The set menu offers great value, and every dish is so good that it doesn't even matter.

I have been ordering the set menu from this restaurant for over a year now, and it never disappoints. The curries are flavorful and spicy, and the dahls are absolutely delicious. I always save the samosas for breakfast the next day and spend the night looking forward to it. It's great not having to decide what to order, just telling them how many people and letting them take care of it. They are the only fully vegan takeaway in Kirkcaldy that I know of, and I enjoy supporting them. I recently discovered that their raita is also vegan. My non-vegan brother lives with me, but since I pay for most of the food and bills, he eats vegan at home. Ordering takeaway is one of the few chances he gets to eat non-vegan food, but he still chooses The Tiffin when given the choice! You can also find them at markets around Fife and Kirkcaldy High St most Fridays, offering a delicious range of snacks and meals. I can't wait for their restaurant to open.

I recently visited the Tiffin food truck on the high street on Fridays and I must say, the meal was amazing. The food is all vegan and absolutely delicious. We tried the pea and potato curry with onion bhajis, as well as the thali plate which included a variety of options such as curry, chapatti, spring rolls, and a samosa that was huge! The prices were reasonable and the owners were very friendly. I heard that they will be opening a new restaurant in a permanent location soon and I am excited to visit again.

My non-vegan brother lives with me and since I do most of the cooking and grocery shopping, he ends up eating vegan meals at home. Ordering takeaway is one of the few times he gets to have non-vegan food, yet he always chooses Tiffin when I ask him where he wants to order from! If you're not convinced yet, you can also find them at markets around Fife and on Kirkcaldy High Street on Fridays, offering a delicious selection of snacks and meals. I can't wait to dine at their restaurant.
