Man Friday - Kinsale

Very nice location and interior, plus very good food. the tour!

Visited after a long drive from Dublin and delighted to get a reservation as had missed out on last trip to Kinsale. Very friendly initial contact and loved the section which houses the fireplace and views over the river.Chowder was very good and hit the spot straight away. the wine list was attractive and reasonably priced.Partner had the risotto with hake accompanied with their crunchy potatoes with parmesan etc. excellent choice,Bit disappointed with their scampi as fresh Dublin bay prawns not used and the leaf salad could have benefited from a tangy dressing. The crunchy potatoes were very good.Was unable to manage a pudding but what we saw arriving at neighboring tables looked scrummy.Both our main dish plates (crockery) were just about warm and could have have been heated better.Food was considered good and decent sized portions. Waiter was excellent and attentive. Will consider returning.

The best place in the box for eating. the personal is great

The oldest restaurant in kinsale is what I said was not disappointed. from the greeting to the beautiful table outdoor with view and camein were simply great. the eating was also fresh sea food . I had the seafood chowder and the black sea bass.

Great food. But its missing a bit of the Irish vibe
