Jim Edwards - Kinsale

Love this restaurant ! It's been about 6 months since we were last here , as always the food service was terrific ! Had the lunch special , whiting with capers , tomato herb crust , various veg all beautifully cooked . My hubby had the steak sandwich with salad chips extra serving of pepper sauce . The place was pretty busy , but the staff were on top of things looked after everyone ! We will be back in the next few weeks as we were reminded of this gem of a place that we had NEARLY. Forgotten about !!!!!!

Very good food and friendly staff. There was so much food and a great price! Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks to the gentleman at The Old Presbytery B&B.

We come to Cork quite often, and always enjoy visiting Kinsale. I come to Jim Edwards for the seafood chowder, it is absolutely the best! In fact, when people ask me what I’m going to do when I go to Ireland, I always say, “I’m going to Kinsale and have chowder”! I would recommend this place to anyone that asks, and I will be back for more chowder, again and again, whenever we come across the pond to Ireland!

We were down helping ESB to restore power lines after the storm and booked into this restaurant. The menu was great and the food and service excellent. We are booked back in tonight again so looking forward to it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone

Had lunch here on Sunday with my zumba friends, just after the 10k walk for cancer, it was so good every thing was hansom pate and the chicken and ham I had .house white wine was very good..the staff were so friendly and helpful..I will definitely be back ..thank you for a lovely afternoon.
