The Veranda Steak And Seafood

I went in with high hopes, and while I did enjoy my experience, I felt slightly disappointed. Our group ordered filets and New York strips; some were excellent while others were just okay. A few of the dishes could have been more impressive. We had two kids with us but found there was no kids' menu available. The only options offered were grilled chicken or salmon, and a simple dish of buttered noodles would have been a nice addition. Despite this, I would definitely be willing to give it another try. On the plus side, the BYOB policy is a great feature.

What a lovely restaurant! It feels like a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was quite relaxing. The chef and owner personally visited each table to check on everything, which was a nice touch. I truly enjoyed my experience here!

On June 8th I called The Veranda and spoke to Tiara. She was amazing! Miraculously the banquet room was available for June 29/2024. There were only 18 of us as we kept our wedding very small. second time around). The service was excellent, the food delicious and the room lovely. Tiara was so very kind and helpful what a gem!!! We all had a lovely time and we shall be coming back not only for dinners but for our Anniversary yearly praise God! Sometimes the most simple joys are right in your back yard or hometown area and you don’t even know it! Seek and you shall find! Peace to you all!

Even the microwaved leftovers today are amazing and juicy. My husband and I were blown away that this little secret is tucked away in Kingwood. We started with a Caesar salad and a wedge salad. Refreshing and well done. But I had the filet mignon with the mushroom Dijon cream, and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. My husband had the strip with a peppercorn cream sauce. He will not stop talking about it as the best steak of his life. It’s BYOB, so we just picked up a bottle to split on the way to dinner. We cannot wait to go back.

Love this restaurant and the family that owns it! Food is amazing and the steak is almost impossible to beat!
