Down Home Diner - KINGWOOD

Great food, nice people and very fast. The scrambled eggs were very fluffy. The pancakes were the best I have ever had. The bacon was very crispy. Overall great place

Food was great. Service was awesome. Very quaint diner. It is definitely a hidden gem but well worth the visit.

So let 's get this out of the way 1st:If you 're looking for fancy, 5 star place, go somewhere else, cause this ain 't it....Yes this place is probably a textbook definition of a hole in the wall , HOWEVER, what it lacks in decor it more than makes up for through excellent service, wonderful home style food, and super friendly staff, as well as extremely reasonable prices....Like $8 for all you can eat buckwheat cakes, served all day long....I mean, what restaurant that does that nowadays....One note though is that they only take cash, so get some before you visit...This was our 1st visit here but will certainly NOT be our last ? Parking: Parking is a little tight, especially for full sized SUV 's but still manageable if you 're careful.

Very nice place to visit for a good meal you seat yourself didn't take long for waitress to bring menu's and take drink orders all in all a great place to go very friendly

Wonderful ladies, always take care of our family. The food is always delicious.
