Mr. Jaime's Taqueria - Kingsville

Coming from san diego, ca I was not a big fan of this style Mexican cuisine. my family comes from michoacán and baja california. many still live there. this is the style of Mexico food I grew up and again. but a thing that was not disappointing was the service. the server was on the point. constantly to check our group and very polite.

I got the Mexican plate to eat in and a dozen homemade corn tortillas to go. I was stuffed. It was very good. Try the green sauce, yummy!

Really good barbacoa, not run down your arm first bite like el corral used to be but real good still.

This is a hidden gem. I'm an out of towner and this tasted like home. Food was great and service wasn't that bad. Will go back again!

The food is fantastic, prices are reasonable, and the servers treat you like family! My favorite go-to place in Kingsville!
