Margherita Pizza Of Kingsville

I LOVE coming here for food. My go to meal is the meatlovers pizza, I've been getting it for about 7 years now and I have zero complaints. I also love the wings, the greek salad, and the subs. I still have a few things on the menu left that I need to try. Everyone who works there is courteous and friendly, and so are the delivery drivers. If you haven't been here it's definitely worth the try.

Hubby and I finally got the chance to check this place out yesterday and we're kicking ourselves that we haven't been sooner. We stopped in around 1:30 to grab some subs to go and I was greeted by the nicest young man at the register. The menu is huge but I had my heart set on a pizza steak sub and hubby wanted an Italian coldcut and I also got a drink and some chips. I love that they pack the subs in styrofoam containers but with as large as they were, overflowing with meats and toppings I imagine they have to do that and I also liked that the bags for the to go orders had handles it's the little things that I notice and truly appreciate so bonus points for that Margherita. I consider myself to be a Pizza Steak aficionado and theirs was the best I have ever had, the steak was seasoned perfectly and the fresh tomato sauce and gooey cheese were so yummy. Hubby loved his coldcut as well, he usually saves half for lunch the next day but said it was so good he couldn't help but finish it. I saved half of my sub for today's lunch and it was just as good as when I ate if freshly made. We will definitely be back to try their pasta specials and pizzas.

The pizza was mediocre—nothing special. The cheese steak, however, was an improvement. The restaurant itself is quite small and seems a bit outdated; it could definitely use a refresh. The pizza on display at the counter in the evening looked old and unappetizing.

The food was excellent! I had to give the pizza a try because they offered such a wide variety of slices. I can't say I had a bad experience since tasting it, but I was surprised to find that they only offered one size. Clearly, one size doesn't fit all.

I didn't tip the van service enough the first time, so the next day I went back, declared my intentions, and left a generous tip, asking the owner to pass it on. I then witnessed the owner giving the tip to his young daughter, who struggled to put it into a drinking glass. It was clear from her expression that she knew it wasn't right, but her dad encouraged her to do it anyway. This was really disappointing on so many levels! You've just lost a once loyal customer!!
