El Tapatio - Kingsville

We ended here for lunch Saturday and then friends met here for breakfast on Sunday. both eating and service were excellent. I lived 10 years ago in kingsville and this place just gets better. they have completely renovated the interior. it looks great! we loved the chairs and statues! I have the pfarrer burrito who has chalupas. both were fabulous! her salsa is still dying. it's my absolute favorite, I've ever had a lot of sorts. they also gave us fried tortillas with our chips. so good and not usual in most Mexican restaurants. I got tacos that he got with the migas. he had never been migas, but he liked it. one of the children has large fluffy pancakes. another one ordered a bacon egg taco, but it had only speck when it came out. the young spoke so much about the speck as she wanted to cook it, I don't think the server even heard that she mentions the egg (she is also a very quiet conversation partner when strange around). we laughed her mother gave her a few eggs. I'm sure if we said something, they would have repaired it right away. I rarely had a problem with my eating here and if I did, it was always quick to fix, no ask.

The first time here looking for something where to eat go back to home of kickapoo. after reading the reviews it was decided to try this place. eating was amazing and the portions are good so coming hungry. overall we had a great experience and we will be back.

Delicious fresh Mexican food. good service. guava margaritas were amazing!

A friend recommended this place, so we came out to try the food. We were seated right away. The waiter was really nice, friendly, and polite when we put in our order. As we waited for our food, we noticed the restaurant was very clean. Didn't use the bathrooms on our visit. We gotten our food within 20 mins, it was very hot and fresh. The spicy food was a little more spicier then I hoped. Still the best Mexican food I've had in awhile.

Our first time eating at this establishment. I am giving this rating for the following: 1. We were greeted warm and welcoming 2. We got to choose where to sit without an attitude. 3. Tea was on point. 4. Was recommended a plate and it was phenomenal. 5. Turn around from time of order to table was quick and food was hot! 6. Server was great, thank you Mayeli! Will I return to this establishment when in town...YES!!!
