Was hesitant to try it as it seems empty compared to other restaurants on the foreshore strip. Pleasantly surprised, both with the menu and service. The menu has a lot of regional specialities, good to try something different. Got the bengali hariyali machi (green fish), kolhapuri goat from maharashtra and mango lassi delicious! The non veg platter though was alright. Keen to come back.
Absolutely delicious curries, breads rice in a cosy location on the water. The staff were just lovely as well. Would definitely visit again when I return to Canberra. Highly recommended!
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at 7 By the Lake. Lovely service, delicious food and the '7 experience ' deal we had was quite cheap. 7 dishes for $49.95. Would definitely recommend.
