Had a really lovely lunch here with family and friends, we were very impressed with the service and the quality of the food and the staff were very helpful, patient and knowledgeable of refreshments available as we did not know the local beers, suggestions were great, had a lovely afternoon. Rihanna and Dani were exceptionally kind and fun wait staff at the duke, making my friends birthday experience truly delightful.

Horrible bar staff, rude and clearly hate their jobs, particularly the tall guy. Never again. I don’t care how busy a pub is it costs nothing to say thank you and TRY to avoid slamming the pint down and snatching payment

I was firstly impressed by the overall feel of the pub, I love the vintage style and the attention to detail is a really nice touch that sets the duke apart from many other pubs. The fried chicken ranch burger prepared and recommended to me by chef Niv was the definitive highlight of my visit, with crispy yet juicy chicken and well seasoned fries with a great tasting bbq dip too. I will definitely be back to try more from the menu in the coming months.
