Starbucks - Kingston upon Hull, City of

I usually try to steer clear of chain establishments like Starbucks, Costa, and Cafe Nero, but I didn't have many options here. There was only one staff member working, and they seemed quite busy, indicating they may be understaffed. I ordered a small Americano for £3.50 (a price I would expect in London, not Hull) and found it to be lukewarm. I returned it, but had to wait in line as a queue had formed. The server didn't apologize and instead asked if I wanted hot milk. I agreed, but when I tried the drink again, it had turned into more of a latte. I had to leave it unfinished as my train was about to depart. Despite their claims of being environmentally friendly, Starbucks had two taps running continuously, wasting water - a precious resource. I will make even more of an effort to avoid chain restaurants like these in the future.

Nice location and a great place to stop to pick up a drink and a bite to eat. I was between trains on a very warm Friday and opted for a Cool Lime Refresha drink made with lemonade. Iced and very tasty, and as I had missed lunch, grabbed a chocolate twist! A great pick me up for a weary traveller!

The loyalty points machine at the restaurant is not working. They instruct me to contact head office to add the points. However, head office tells me to return to the restaurant to have the points added. When I return to the restaurant, they inform me that they are unable to add the points and to go back to head office. This process is a waste of time and frustrating. I have decided to delete the app and will now be sticking with Cafe Nero in the future.

Purchased a Americana, weak coffee no taste and served by a rude dark haired girl The place is cold with no atmosphere , go to Costa next door

I went into store and asked one of the members of staff, about the strawberry drink, she was really rude and then when I got handed my drink she was really moody and did not seem interested. This is poor customer service. I didn’t get the member of staff name however she had light brown hair
