Golden Bowl - Kingston

This is a wonderful spot for a peaceful meal. I really enjoy the ambiance, and the food is fantastic!

First and foremost, I am a huge fan of Asian cuisine, and I've sampled hot and sour soup from many places. Without a doubt, this restaurant has the best version I've ever had. On my visits, I always order one to eat there and one to take home—something I've never done anywhere else! I'm currently obsessed with their Roast Chicken, Sweet and Sour Lobster (when they have it; it sells out quickly), Stew Pork, and the special fried rice. In my opinion, it's the top Chinese restaurant around. The roast pork is also exceptional. They really know what they're doing, and your money goes far here. Everything is fresh—nothing is reheated (and believe me, I know all the tricks with rice; they don’t practice those). I drive about an hour from Ocho Rios just to enjoy their food, which speaks volumes. Nothing else in that city compares to their quality. I usually say that if a place is either excellent or best avoided, but these guys are PHENOMENAL. Be sure to try their house-made hot sauce!

I've been visiting this restaurant for years and have consistently enjoyed the food. I also have no complaints about the customer service.

I am from New York, and this is the best Oriental restaurant, hands down. The food was superb and our waiter, John was very professional. I shall surely return. Great service and very clean.
