The Grub Hut - Kingston

Excellent sized drinks. Food was amazing. Choices numerous. You won't need anything else if you order something with fries (sliced Fugi apple is an option). The fries are perfect and you get plenty. Tables could be cleaned a little better between patrons. Fountain drink machine ran out of certain kinds while filling. Food was delivered to your table fast. Will certainly go back.

Tl;dr Worth a stop when you 're in Kingston. Good, but not perfect burgers, great service, and fast. I really enjoyed my cheeseburger from The Grub Hut. It was very good, although I would 've made some different choices about how it was built. I 'm not a fan of the red onions and green leaf lettuce, but I understand that those are considered premium ingredients these days. Give me iceberg lettuce and yellow onions (preferably diced) every time. The excellent patty was under-seasoned and the burger would 've benefited from twice as much mayonnaise. With all that said, I was very happy with my lunch and will visit every single time I 'm hungry and in Kingston. I loved it. Service was much quicker than I expected. I received my very large order within 10 minutes. I expected to be there 20-30 minutes. Prices are fair. I 'd never call them cheap, but they 're hardly expensive. Considering the nice touches, like homemade nacho cheese, I found the Grub Hut to be a real value. Definitely recommended.

Great food and place. Everyone were very friendly and polite!! The Philly cheese steak and their taco salad are so good!! They have large portions for their prices!! Will definitely be back soon!!

After I had heard all about the grub hat for years, I was in the opposite of the meal times with the ability to stop and get some. when the parking lot looked full, there was no line inside and many available tables. there were also some tables outside, but it was just a bit too cool to go this stretch. some of their burgers jumped to me when I skipped the huge selection of specialburgers. the hangover helper is what I chose this time. only enough zing with the jalapenos and chipotle mayo. small chaos, but this is where the pommes have made their task to catch everything that is out of date. kid only choose a simple bacon cheeseburger, but it's the best he had in the city in one. the reports of the fruit milkshake surpassed the expectations.

The food overall was amazing. The onion rings were done well and had both a satisfying crunch and flavor. I ended up getting the special which was very flavorful and quite unique. The staff were friendly and responsive to all our questions. They were also quite quick which was nice for how busy they were.
