Moonburger - Kingston

My husband and I went here earlier today, we waited about 50 minutes to get to the front of the line. A man was outside raking orders and we have him our order and it appeared there were no issues. Then we got to the window and there was a problem. Their gluten free buns are not vegan friendly. I was so disappointed by this as I feel both the menu and their website are full of all sorts of dietary information that it really sucked this was missing. We ended up not getting any of our order, the kind lady at the window did give us the shake we ordered complimentary which was nice. The shake was not very good though. Very sweet and fairly bland and didn't have a very good texture. If you're vegan and gluten free this isn't the place for you. There was also a car that had pulled up, parked on the other side of the road (ergo was not in the line) and appeared to place an order and skip the majority of the line. I'm speculating as I'm not 100% sure but I would have been mighty pissed to have waited 50 minutes and see someone who showed up half way into that get an order before me.

A unique auto thru location. the vegan cheeseburger and pommes is a classic comfort combination and the taste is great. they use the conceptual milk free instead of vegan only fyi, but this option is vegan. I just wish they would get rid of the milk offer and go full of vegan. or at least charge for the milk cheese instead of the vegan cheese.

My grandparents have lived in the opposite for over 20 years and it is so beautiful to see the vegan options. So I was thrilled to try this place and was not disappointed. the brownie shake was sweet and tasty, the burger really good. a little salty for me, but also I have heard that is how burger are? I've never had a meat so it could be that they really replicated it. I got my grandmother a cheeseburger and pommes, and she couldn't stop shaking about it – she was disgusting to try impossibility/Beyond burger in the past. Honestly, if she loved it, I can't imagine others not!

Ooooooh my god where do I begin?! Milkshakes, get one, make it fancy, trust me. The burgers are magical I rarely am able to eat Impossible burgers without getting sick but however they cook it, my body is totally okay with. A lot of stuff gives me bellyaches so this is such a win for me! Incredible junk food that is vegan and doesn't make me sick even when I have a double patty with hot fries and a shake?! MIRACLE. I really cannot stress enough how good this place is. We've been 3 times in the 2 weeks we've known about it!!

We were SO excited to try Moonburger, and when we arrived, there was a huge line! It took about 30-40 min to get all the way through, and several cars gave up or turned around, but the wait was SO worth it. There is a classic burger and a cheeseburger, both with a vegan alteration, which includes vegan cheese on the cheeseburger. Both the classic and hot fries were delicious, and they have a fantastic brownie batter milkshake, which is vegan by default. Everything was delicious, and the place itself was adorable!
