The fish was of high quality and most dishes were reasonably priced. The only downside was that the premium fish selection is not as extensive as what you might find in Toronto, but for Kingston, I was satisfied. I ordered the Premium Chirashi and the ebi unagi oishisushi. The latter was flavorful, but could have used more meat. Overall, I will definitely be coming back!
I have no idea how this place has such great reviews. Both sushi rolls are soggy and fall apart. The Tempora was absolutely rough, soggy and tasted like pancake battery that was not even cooked. The soup tasted like watered broth. I just took it off. Do you have a bad day in the kitchen? Either it is too expensive for such a disappointing experience.
Oh, man. This must be my new favorite place. Not only do they serve sushi in these very cool small boats, they welcome you as soon as you arrive very cordially. The decor is an intelligent and minimal choice with a woody cabin feel and a section of the bamboo wall as the cook prepares next to the dining area sushi. The musical vibe contains smooth jazz/rnb/hip hop toys like those of Nujabes. The sushi I had was amazing!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was of high quality and tasted even better when shared with friends. The server was accommodating and the restaurant itself had a very pleasing aesthetic.
This is definitely my favorite sushi restaurant in Kingston. The food is delicious and the servers are very accommodating.
