Captain George's Fish & Chips

The restaurant owner is very skilled in the kitchen and the food is excellent.

We arrived at 11:45 and placed our order by 12. We ordered fish and chips with a side of onion rings. The waitress had to leave to get onions from another store. The cook was left to serve customers, and by the time the waitress returned, we had almost finished our meal. It seems like she should have gone shopping before the lunch rush, as there was no one there when we arrived, and she was seen eating and playing on her phone. The place was good the last time we visited, but there was a different waitress then.

I really enjoy the 2 piece haddock and fries at this restaurant. It's my favorite anywhere. However, I am starting to find the price a bit too high at $26 plus tax and tip. Just some feedback in hopes of potentially seeing a price decrease in the future.

Fantastic. Waitress was a joy to have. So helpful. We are 2 seniors. She suggested 2 pieces of fish and fries. It was plenty for 2. We will be back.

Friendly staff, amazing fish and chips. In house Tatar sauce is very flavourful compare to the packets. Very nice dining room beautifully designed.Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff welcoming kids, high chair available.Parking: Many parking spots in the plaza.
