Black Dog Tavern - Kingston

We had a wonderful lunch! We shared a small plate of Smelts....cooked perfectly. For our lunch plate, I had the Warm Tuna Salad and my husband had the Duck confit sandwich. Both dishes were excellent. We did not leave a morsel behind lol. Our server was attentive, friendly and engaging. Regrettably, we cannot remember her name. Great experience

I loved this place. I’m consistently surprised at how much service makes a difference. We found the atmosphere and the food was top notch but the service made it a truly memorable experience. I had avoided this restaurant thinking maybe it was too French fine dining or maybe too pretentious but it is nether. It is just good. Go!

The food was so delicious. My husband loved the liver and onions. Our server was fantastic and made sure everything was was to our liking. We had a fantastic relaxing meal with friends from out of town. We were all very impressed with our food choices.

Cocktail hour (3-5) was great, appetizer even better and our waiter,Brandon, was as good if not better than the cocktails and food....looking forward to returning...

Great food, great service! Excellent atmosphere with perfect sound system. Music that moves and yet you can still converse at a normal tone.
