Bare Bones Bbq - Kingsport

I was in Blountville for a weekend getaway and stumbled upon this gem on my way to Kingsport. It's a cozy little spot, and I'm so glad I decided to stop by! I ordered the brisket and ribs combo, and it was fantastic. I definitely plan to come back!

This was likely the worst BBQ experience I've ever had! To make matters worse, the sour cream was at least a month past its expiration date. When I reached out to customer service, the representative mentioned that she had tasted the sour cream herself, despite its date, and claimed it tasted fine. The manager was also quite rude. I ended up spending $100 and I'm extremely disappointed!

As someone from North Carolina, I've noticed a significant difference in BBQ and sauces. I never imagined that BBQ chicken nachos could be so deliciously pulled. I really enjoyed the flavors, and when I take another vacation here, I will definitely know where to go!

Probably the kindest place I've ever been. Big brisket and loaded potato. Eating affordable and tasty and you can ask for a better hometown bbq place. I look forward to burning the next Saturday.

This place is AMAZING! The service was phenomenal, the food came out super fast, and it is THE BEST southern comfort BBQ in Kingsport! And the dessert was just divine! My family loves to eat out, and we've tried just about every BBQ place around here. We just now found this little place last week, and we went back 2 days later, and I ordered the exact same meal... it's THAT good! 10/10 would recommend!!
