What an interesting Duty Free shop! At the very least I didn't see sales tax being charged on my receipt. This overgrown sundry shop seems to have everything you can hope for in a touristy gift shop. You just need to see for yourself. So big, it feels like the new highlight of Kettleman City. There is plenty of parking and certainly convenient for trailers and RVs. The field of SuperChargers are also quite the convenience. A great place to give both your vehicles and behinds a rest, there is a great BBQ restaurant, Ice Cream shop, and clean restrooms.
This is our go-to resting stop whenever we’re traveling on I-5. Gas up the car nearby and grab food, then walk over here for a quick bathroom stop and some treats for the drive. There aren’t a ton of food gas stops along this stretch of highway, but this is our favorite one for sure.
Nice and cozy place. A must place to visit!
