Workhorse Brewing - King of Prussia

I opted for a flight of four beers, which was around $12—a great deal! The atmosphere is very family-friendly, and I noticed a nice mix of patrons around 6 PM on a Wednesday, including work groups, families, friends, and couples. There are numerous large TVs throughout the bar showing various programs, contributing to a lively vibe overall. You can see the brewing vats from the main area, but unfortunately, there’s no brewery tour available at this time. There is an outdoor seating area, but it seemed to be reserved for club members when I visited; it might be worth considering for locals who plan to come back often. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and the restrooms were clean.

This is one of the best breweries along the Main Line! I visited after a lovely afternoon of hiking at Valley Forge, drawn in by the positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. The main dining area is spacious, so I never felt cramped next to other tables. I was impressed by the extensive draft beer selection, and our waiter was very helpful in recommending the best options. As a fan of sour beers, I really enjoyed the Gooseberry Gose and the new Cranberry Cosmo. I was also pleasantly surprised by how smooth the New England IPA was—it was outstanding for its style! Every beer I tried was good, and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls and barbecue boneless wings, but the highlight for me was definitely the pepperoni pizza. Everything was served promptly, and I was amazed at how tasty and quick the food was considering the brewery doesn't have a full kitchen! I will definitely make it a point to return if I'm in the area again.

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at Workhorse in their private room, and it was amazing! The venue was ideal—featuring high ceilings, rustic decor, and lovely greenery overhead. The food was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options available. The drink selection was also excellent, catering to both beer lovers and those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages. The party planning process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend Workhorse for any upcoming events. The beer selection could use some improvement, and the food was decent. While the service was good, it came across as slightly unfriendly. However, I’m sure the staff are great people overall. I would definitely return a few more times!

We absolutely love Workhorse! The beers are fantastic—innovative yet they also have a solid selection of classic brews that they excel at. The atmosphere is always enjoyable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is truly delicious. We especially appreciate being able to bring our dogs and enjoy sitting outside when the weather is nice.
