Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill - King

I visited this restaurant a month ago and had a wonderful experience, but when I returned tonight, I was shocked to see how much it has changed. The manager seemed to be rude and was taking tables, and there were barely any staff members available. We also had to wait a long time for our food. I'm really puzzled about what has happened to this place.

Awesome Mexican grill! I am not a fan of chorizo, and the Choriqueso is the bomb; plus great salsa. The Papa Mixta was absolutely delicious and the Carne was cooked perfectly. Friendly, fast, attentive service; all around well done. Eat here if you're craving Mexican.

Overall, the service and food are usually excellent. However, this time was disappointing. I specifically requested no green bell peppers, but three times they served the dish with them. The waiter apologized but said there was nothing they could do to fix it. I'm really let down.

I would give the waiting staff 5 stars. This place has its flaws, but the staff genuinely tries to make the best of a bad situation. About a week ago, our food didn’t arrive, and as a vegetarian, I ordered a vegetarian tamale but ended up with one that had meat in it. You could tell there was some confusion in the kitchen, and while the server came back with a smile, it was clear that she was also frustrated. Overall, she did her best to handle the situation.

By far my favorite Mexican food experience! Absolutely delicious! Great service, will definitely make a trip just to go back!
