Jeans Family Restaurant - Kincardine

Opted for breakfast here. Shared an omelette which was diner calibre and came with processed cheese, potatoes and toast. The kitchen kindly split the meal for us, which was nice.The place is clean, very reasonable and the service is good and friendly. The food is fine and the coffee is not.

Family diner located in the heart of Kincardine. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to the hype given to it by the local residents. My family and I went for breakfast and it took 45 minutes to receive our breakfasts that were not worth the wait. Even after a lengthy wait, the hash browns arrived still partially frozen, the bacon tasted and looked like it had been microwaved. The server was rude and did not apologize for the wait or the lack of quality of the food, even though it was mentioned to her. We will never visit this restaurant again while in Kincardine.

After driving around Kincardine trying to find a restaurant that was not a chain and did not cost an arm and a leg we ended up here. We were not disappointed. The food was good, the service was good and the price was right. FYI - don't get the rice pudding unless you like raisins.

It was a great way to start the day. Staff were fantastic and fun and the food was good. Seems like a place where the locals would gather, and it made a homey atmosphere.

Everytime I have been to this place of business I am rarely greeted. Most of the ladies barely speak to me and my friends/family when I have been there. A lot of the time your food is late, and the servers never come to check on you. The only server who is good there is Elaine, and the young one that worked sundays. This might me a mom and pop joint but the food is terrible and inconstant due to the SERIOUS and FREQUENT turnover in cook staff. This place might want to go to the place downtown at the Watercress Bistro and get a look at how REAL breakfast is done and how REAL people treat customers. PAYING customers. No I am not asking for much, but a bit of COMMON DECENCY. Treat me with respect and do your job. Never worth the money I pay and After my last encounter I will not EVER be going back there. It's a disgrace and your only liked if your part of the scene!!!!Not to mention my food is under cooked and often I get the WRONG order or something is missing. hashbrowns Should not be deep fried... that is not a hashbrown... Never a smile or a kind gesture. Makes you feel VERY uncomfortable and I hope that they read this and understand how they treat people GREATLY AFFECTS these people when they leave your establishment and you should be ashamed for making a PAYING CUSTOMER feel that way when they leave!!!!SHOUTOUT to the COOK DUNCAN. YOU KNOW HOW TO COOK !!! to bad I wont be coming back!
