Ovations - KILLINGTON

I highly recommend the veal entrée, which was tender and beautifully complemented by the flavorful broccoli. The poutine with sausage was enjoyable, but I wouldn't consider it the best I've had. I agree with a previous reviewer about the ravioli—it was delicious, packed with diced mushrooms. The rack of ribs was quite substantial, enough to share, and cooked in Jack Daniel's sauce, though I wished it had been a bit more tender. On the downside, the service was slow. Our food took a long time to arrive, especially since we visited during peak hours, and they were infrequent in refilling our water glasses. That said, the staff was courteous. If you’re looking for a lively atmosphere, this might not be the ideal spot for you and your group, as it was quite low-key with no music. Overall, it offers a pleasant dining experience, but be prepared for a more relaxed vibe.

I’m giving this restaurant two stars mainly because I appreciate the updates and renovations they've made. My friend and I put our names down for a reservation and were told we’d be seated in 45 minutes. We informed the waitress we wanted a table near the fireplace, just 10 feet away. After an hour passed with no updates, I approached her to inquire about our seating. She told me it would be another 20 minutes and seemed quite indifferent. It would have been nice if she had come over to inform us that there would be a delay and apologized, but she didn't. Ultimately, we discovered that there was plenty of available seating, but it seemed the kitchen couldn't keep up with the orders. As a result, we ended up ordering pizza instead.

The service was poor and the food was even worse! I ordered chicken wings and they were extremely soggy—my daughter couldn't even eat them! My salad was decent, but I ordered a side of salmon for $6.00 and received a 2-ounce piece that looked old and unappetizing, so I couldn't bring myself to eat it for fear of getting sick. The only redeeming item was their homemade bread with maple butter, which was really good. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend going there at all! I haven't had McDonald's in about two years, but if I had to choose, I'd pick it without a second thought.

Great service. Our waitress was very nice attentive. On the downside, stay away from the burgers, it's impossible to eat them. Very VERY messy!

Good restaurant overall for breakfast. Limited menus for dinner but food is excellent. Need entertainment Saturday night at least
