Cortina Inn And Resort Killington

Staying in Killington for the week, we looked for some inexpensive hotels to stay at that wouldn't break the bank, and would let us bring our pet (for a fee, fine). I have to say I'm pretty happy we found this place. It's not the Ritz Carlton, and it definitely has that old school ski lodge feeling in some parts, but our room was definitely updated, clean, and there's a good variety of amenities at the Inn (hot tub/pool, fitness room, game room, above average continental breakfast). Walls are a little thin... we could hear the kids upstairs running around a little bit. I also wish there was more storage for us people staying a little longer than a couple days, but overall it's a good place.

Currently undergoing renovations, I bet this will be a very nice, reasonably priced place later this summer (2016) or 2017. I can 't speak to pricing for winter ski season. Pros: The rooms are fairly large, all with 2 queen beds I believe. Pets are a small extra charge. Some rooms have an outside door and patio type seating just outside. Nice dining room seating. Clean. Pleasant staff. Easy parking. Entry is with a magnetic swipe. Very easy. Cons: Some rooms face road and are pretty loud. Workout space is small and has no windows. Bunch of different cardio machines though giving plenty of choice for people. Bathroom door is just oddly placed. At least in the rooms I was in. TV has limited channels. Seems to have lots of work happening so the grounds are not as nice as I imagine they might be. Resulted in not great views and plenty of daytime noise. Mattresses are hard and the mattress covers are cheap and don 't help much. Pillows that have no give. Unknown: Pool under construction or renovation when I was here. I would stay here again. But Id call first to find out what was actually open, because the pool not being open was a surprise to me. I would have preferred knowing about all the construction happening too. No afternoon naps were had.

Great hotel to stay. Too bad it is being converted to an assisted living facility. We stayed there the last night it was a hotel. Close by to Pico and Killlington for skiing. It has an indoor pool and jacuzzi which I took full advantage of. The room was very spacious. Plus they have complimentary hot tea and coffee and fresh baked choclate chip cookies(! in the afternoon. In the morning, they have a huge complimentary breakfast with eggs, french toast, cereal, sausage, biscuits, gravy, etc. The lobby has a rustic Vermonty feel to it. Hope it stays open as a hotel!

We stayed here over the course of New Years Weekend while taking in the sites in Killington Vermont. The location is within 10 minutes of Killington Ski Mountain which was great for getting to the mountain early and enjoying the restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel itself was very nice. The staff were more than accommodating and friendly. They have free coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cookies. The hotel seems to be great for families with the pool, hot tub, game room, and pub all located on site. The room was adequate although they were a little sloppy when they cleaned it up during the day. The walls and ceiling are very thin and with all the kids in the area came a lot of noise that became somewhat of a nuisance. One other downside was the main fireplace that was not working during our stay. Overall, I would stay here again due to the great proximity to local attractions, price, and amenities.

Beware, scam! Eveywhere you look says this place is closed but are still booking reservations through booking sites. This place is a scam. Went through hours on end trying to get a refund The place never answers the phone. Do not get fooled! Stay away. None of the amenities are available and the manager is rude. Nothing but a headache trying to work with them. Even this yelp page says it 's closed. If they were still booking and want business, why would everywhere -including neighboring hotels say they been shut down for a year.
