Przekaż informację zwrotnąTham Rab is an outstanding restaurant with consistently great food and service. I discovered it when my regular Thai spot closer to home kept having inconsistent hours, which became a hassle. Tham Rab not only offers delicious dishes, but also provides quick service at affordable prices. They've proven to be a reliable choice every time! My picky daughter loves the food and often asks to go there. Overall, this place is a definite winner!
The food here is reasonably priced. This restaurant feels a bit like a food court. If you’re looking for takeout, it might be worth a try, as most of their orders are for takeout anyway. However, I wouldn't recommend dining in, as the atmosphere isn't very inviting; it feels dark and outdated, although it is clean. Half of the chairs are stacked on the tables, and there's a glass pantry with an old paper sign that says, “We do not have a buffet.” Overall, the restaurant gives off a vibe that it's on the verge of closing. But don't let that worry you, since most of their business comes from takeout.
Next, I ordered the red curry chicken with bamboo, extra spicy, and I’m pleased to say it delivered on the spice! This was my first spicy meal in Texas, and I highly recommend it. I believe this dish is usually referred to as Gang Dang. Drinks are served by the can; I noticed they have come and Dr. Pepper, but I'm not sure what other options are available. I wanted to try their Thom Kha Goong (shrimp), but it's only offered in a dinner portion. The waiter was helpful in discussing the menu but then left me to my own devices. If I needed anything, I had to approach him. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back for more; the food was delightful!
I had the Tom Yum Goong (shrimp) and it was fantastic! Everything tasted fresh, and there were plenty of garnishes. I requested it spicy, which definitely made my eyes water! However, they do ask if you prefer a milder version. The staff was friendly and recognized their regular customers, which was nice to see when they walked in to place their orders.
Next, I ordered the red curry with extra bamboo shoots, and I’m happy to say that I found it quite spicy—just the way I like it for my first experience in Texas. I believe this dish is called gang dang. Drinks are served in larger portions; I noticed they had Dr. Pepper, although I wasn’t sure what other options were available. I wanted to try their tom kha goong (shrimp soup), but it was an evening special. The waiter took the time to discuss the menu with me and then left me alone afterward, so if I wanted anything, I had to flag him down. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely return; I had a great dining experience.
