A restaurant eating is great! they serve a beautiful amount of food for their mice. try them out and bring them a friend they will not be disappointed.

Wow, heard about it…….first time ordering and tasting their food. Very delicious, Staff attitude is great even down to showing Ur plate before bagging it!!!! I Enjoyed it All, will be Back again :

We got the ox tail, jerk chicken, curry chicken. The food was delicious (reminded me of mom's) the owners were very friendly. We ate in the restaurant, but they're really set up more for to-go.

Food was pretty good. We got the oxtail plate. The vibe inside was kind of weird. We walked in and the older black lady was all laughing and joking with another customer. When it was our turn to order, it felt like we were bothering her, we got the blank death stare. The older gentleman in the back hooking up the order was kind enough to show the plates, now he was friendlier. 1Luv Island Restaurant. You may need to find a better host/cashier.

1luv offers the most authentic Jamaican food in this part of Texas! I first came for the steamed red snapper and ended up coming back every day. I also bring my fellow US Army soldiers with me and we all enjoy the brown one-pot snapper, steamed snapper, escovich snapper, curry garnels, and large curry garnels. Unlike other restaurants, they do not serve small baby garnels. My favorite dishes are the jowl, ochs, browntails, and brown-blacks. I always start my morning with the delicious ackee salt fish. The only thing missing from the menu is porridge. I will miss 1luv when I am stationed elsewhere, you are the best!
