We waited for water and waited for over 45 minutes for our meal. I think they must have waited for at least 20 minutes on the side as they arrived, my speck was lukewarm, barely looked boiled! after returning twice, the meal came out, supposedly completely recovered: the speck was now hot and crispy .. but the poched eggs on the same plate were cold, the toast with bruschetta was soggy. so I doubted that the whole meal had been completely recovered! I had hunger! Yes, I gave it up and eaten! we were not the only tables with problems with long waiting times .not sure about the quality of their meals
As a native we used to drive the week to lunch and a few times a week to the coffee, as under new management food really went down and coffee is terrible. the worst they have taken my favorite roof from the menu, Moroccan prawn tacos. unfortunately we had to find a new coffee and lunch café.
Never expected fine dinning but did expect reasonable service and reasonable food neither happened. Of the 4 mains options, by 630pm they’d run out of 2. Replacement option for one was Rump steak when it finally came out it was over cooked, tuff...and tasteless. Risotto was dry as well. The head waiter seemed to busy tending ONE table to help guide the less experienced waitresses which ultimately meant our table and the couple beside us were pretty much forgotten. I was going to give feedback when settling the bill but I wasn’t asked how everything was so I just didn’t bother. Previously know as Hardy’s Bay bistro, we’ve always had a nice experience when dinning there the new name has unfortunately taken away the good food and good service. Never again
This place used to be our go to coffee shop and restaurant. Since it was sold it has gone severely down hill. Such a shame! The service deteriorated and the coffee brand changed and, frankly, that was a mistake, I don’t like drinking dishwater. Waiting...for 40 minutes for coffee when there are only three customers in the queue is, frankly, disappointing. Come on, Craig, pay some attention to your business. Please. M
Every Saturday morning I enjoy a tee in the old killcare store. the personal is very friendly, very welcoming and always interested in a great chat. Despite my regular appearance here, the girls always make sure that they offer qualitatiw high-quality service.especially whitney, daisy and amy. These girls are an extremely real, always smile and make sure that the experience was the best it could be.
