Great views from a fantastic room with a great bed. The public areas of the hotel are stunning and well maintained. We met friends in the Cellar bar and ate there. I might give the food 4/5 there it was good, but I think the restaurant would offer a more luxury dining experience. The spa area was well looked after but we were caught out at being asked to pay £2 for a mandatory swim cap, then £3 for a coffee at the coffee machine in the lounge area by the pool after our swim. Overall, while staff were welcoming and attentive, the receptionist on our arrival was a little less than welcoming, just matter of fact. A little more enthusiasm would be our only suggestion. Rooms: Very well decorated and appointed. Comfortable bed. Just great!
