Bonzer Shack - KILL DEVIL HILLS

This restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the Sierra Mist was refreshing. I recall visiting once and enjoying the outdoor area, which included cornhole and a ping pong table. I truly believe this is one of the best spots in the Outer Banks.

Bonzer Shack consistently delivers an exceptional experience. The burgers are fantastic, particularly the Bonzer Burger, where the sweetness of the pineapple is perfectly balanced by the wasabi mayo. The fish sandwich special, featuring excellent tuna, is vibrant and pairs wonderfully with the sriracha sauce. John and his staff genuinely care for their guests, ensuring everyone's needs are met and consistently exceeding our expectations each time we visit. While the food is always fresh, it’s the outstanding service that makes Bonzer truly special. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

I really enjoy this beach road gem! They offer classic drinks and a good selection of tap beers. The seasonal menus are appealing, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is fantastic, and there’s live music too. Just a heads up, they're closed from Monday to Wednesday.

This place was okay. I got the Shaka bowl and I liked it a lot, especially the cucumber salad. But my sisters said their food was just okay. The staff could have been friendlier. We were seated outdoors and had to place our own order at the window. Thecashier wasn't very welcoming. I asked for a water to drink and he just pointed to a water cooler with a spout and said thewater is over there. I probably won't come back here.

The wait was super long, so we hung outside and had a couple drinks. Man was it worth it once I had the soft shell crab tacos. Delicious. As were the crab cakes. Outside seating you go up to the window and order yourself. I can see some people notwanting to do that, but we didn't mind at all. Hostesses and bartenders were very friendly. Will return
