Very friendly staff and delicious, reasonably priced food!

This has got to be one of the nicest options for Vegan Pizza in Kilkenny! I would like if they’d add vegan ‘mozzarella’ to their ingredients especially when there is a vegan pizza on the menu. I have gotten take out so I can sprinkle on vegan cheese at home and pop it back into the oven for a few minutes.. Update The price only seems to be rising with the quality of the pizza reducing.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. They are certainly going all-in for that Roman Holiday vibe throughout. Vespas adorn the walls and ceilings as do many photos and memorabilia from 1950’s and 1960’s Rome. Extensive selection of pizzas. Pasta dishes less so. Whatever you choose be prepared to pay as the prices are on the high side. I’d expect to pay these prices for an evening meal, a la carte. No real selection of beers other than Nastro Azzuro or Heineken. Cider too, but that’s it. There are a few choices of wine. Enough to enjoy what’s on their menu. Service was quick and waitresses were efficient and polite. Food was tasty but portions were on small side. I would have to say it is not value for money, unfortunately. Portions need to be bigger. I’m all for moderation in portion size but these portions are small. Putting them in a big pasta bowl only makes it worse. That said, presentation is excellent and what I ordered (Tonarelli Amatriciana) I’d gladly order again. Definitely worth considering if in Kilkenny and looking for tasty food.
