O'briens Sandwich Cafe - Kilkenny

I was denied service and asked to leave the premises when I explained that I couldn't wear a face covering due to a medical condition. I was asked to disclose my condition, and when I stated that I wasn't required to provide proof, I was told to leave without being served. When I called to request the name of the Data Controller, the call was abruptly ended, and I was subsequently reported to the police for harassment, who advised me to stop contacting them. I would like to know about my rights in this situation.

The food was very good, with delicious salads, wraps, and bagels. However, it was unclear where to line up to place an order, as the staff were busy and not very attentive. Other customers seemed confused about where to begin ordering as well.

When I returned the sandwich, asking for it to be toasted longer and for the middle slice to actually be toasted, the manager abruptly approached, holding the cash for the sandwich, and nearly shouted that he was giving me a refund. I responded by asking if I could simply have the sandwich toasted instead of receiving soggy bread. In response, he raised his voice even more in front of other customers, insisting that he was only issuing a refund. I had to tell him to stop shouting and to speak to me calmly, as I was speaking to him. This experience highlighted the poor management skills he has, especially under the pressure of lunchtime service and dealing with customer complaints.

Like always great experience. Food and service great.

It's an O'Brien's , overpriced sandwiches coffee etc , it'll do when your stuck and there's nothing better close by, update , same as last time but I'd like to add staff are really nice
