Myles Creek Bar, Restaurant 3 Star Guesthouse

Very simple accommodation, remembered my backpacking days, so not really what we were looking for in our mid-30s! No heating in the bathroom and there was moisture and mold everywhere. Storage heating in the bedroom, which is definitely for managing temperature during a cold November night in Westirland. Breakfast or rather the absence was another story. No hot breakfast before 9am on Monday morning available!!! We were offered to leave continental things for us, which we could help in the morning. Pretty poor in all honesty. In any case, do not recommend, in any case, would not stay there again. There was nowhere else in town, so we had no choice but to eat in the restaurant. Eating was good, but nothing exciting.

Bar serving food in Kilkee co clare ,also accommodation and off licence. staff were pleasant . If u like ur tipple the off-licence is out standing , though small has a great range.

I'll start with the positive. The staff were friendly, but seemed rushed. The place was spacious and reasonably quiet which I like. However, I had lasagne with salad a leaf of lettuce and a few chips. The portion size was disgraceful for €16.00. The lasagne was honestly no bigger than a large box of matches. I understand that prices rise and I don't have an issue with this, but when portion sizes aren't enough to feed a cat then it's just not acceptable. Aside from salt, there was no flavour and it tasted like cardboard. The staff, dispite being friendly, need retraining as they served the dinner without even a glass of water on the table which I did request at the beginning and a second time without responce. I couldn't recommend this place if you're looking to satisfy your hunger. I left with an appetite for a second dinner elsewhere. Finally, as you can see from the replies to criticism on the reviews, they don't learn and don't exactly display any class either.
