La Catrina - Kīhei

On holiday in Maui, La Catrina was recommended to go and have fun on my wife's birthday. Food and drinks were great, more important was the staff friendly and phenomenal.

The Mango Jalepeno-Mule is fantastic! The food is solid and the service is very good.

The hotel is located in a Strip-Mall, had not had 2 drinks we ordered, food was ok. Very little authentic Mexican food, can not decide whether it wants to be Mexican or Italian that serves tacos, mol and pizzas.

The food is pretty pricey for what you get. Not much flavor.

Very disappointed I’ve been there three times and it seems that the quality of the food has gone down. Hopefully this may be a one off but after reading some other reviews unfortunately this could be on the downward end .
