Kono's On The Green - Kīhei

I visited for brunch with a large group the day after a wedding. The restaurant typically accommodates small parties of around six for brunch and football, but we arrived with about 40 people, which was much more than they expected. Despite this, the waitress, cook, and bartender really rose to the occasion! They all worked hard to ensure everyone was taken care of. I tried the breakfast burrito, and it was full of flavor! I'm a big fan of breakfast burritos, and this one didn’t disappoint. The venue also features many TV screens and offers great views.

The burgers here are excellent—homemade and a rare find on Maui. At first glance, the prices may seem high, but considering the stunning view and the overall ambiance, it actually turns out to be reasonably priced. The restaurant is located next to the golf club house.

We arrived just after a large Christmas party, and the waitress promptly took our order before attending to the big group. The service was excellent. I had one of the best burgers I've ever tasted, and I can't wait to go back for another one.

Kono's on the Green was recommended to us by a friend who is a local cook and not disappointed. Our waiter was great, and we even had to meet Chef Kono. The food and presentation were excellent. We would definitely go back. I'm so glad we accepted the recommendation. It was definitely worth it.
