Japanese music was so much fun. The bottle of will was a little expensive, but overall the food was quite expensive and the ambience was great! Very recommended!
Really tasty, even a little expensive. The peak hours (12:30 a.m.), but if you are planning to come to dinner, you must reserve yourself in advance (by phone or via their website). Karaage is the best I had anywhere. The chef likes a lot of ginger, though: I recommend asking for less. Ramen's okay. Modanyaki is super good. Matcha cheesecake is delicious, but the part is small for the price. I recommend the mochi for dessert (the sesame and azuki flavors are wonderful).
Pleasant and surprisingly the best place I have eaten on this business trip. Quint, cozy, authentic, diverse Izakaya in the middle of the tourist country. Small room, but very good quality menu for reasonable prices. Various liqueur menu also. Service staff of three is friendly, fast and friendly. Chef is very good at point because the quality of food that comes out is fast and delicious. I give them credit for the issue as much as for a little operation. It works and shows how many local Japanese din here. Will be back for the Shortribs next visit. Very nice!
I've been trying to taste this little hole in the Japanese wall restaurant for years, but they've always won for me next to Nutcharee and Thai, but Nutcharee was closed on Tuesday, so we chose this place. Well, let's just say I forgot an excellent mood for these years! I would recommend reservations. We came because we arrived at 5:15 and promised to release the table at 6:15 for a party that came. The room was already packed because they had a party of 10 and had only two more tables. One was occupied, and the other we got with conditions. In Azeka Makai near Nalu's and Ace, back in the corner next to Bank of Hawai'i this small jewel has many parking spaces for Kihei. Get it early during 3 pm to 17 pm and you can reduce Happy Hour item. For us we ordered the dinner menu that had some special features. Everything was amazing Oyster Fries, Genbe Fries, Agedashi Tofu, Chicken Katsu Don, Chicken Karaage, Tonkatsu Ramen, Potato Salad Gyoza and Veggie Tempura. From everything I would probably miss the Tempura and Gyoza. Not that they weren't delicious, but we had a lot of food! Good, fast, friendly staff. We will definitely return!
Overall pretty good. Very decent food. Compatible to mainland Japanese. However. Being on the island of Maui, this would definitely be my go to when I’m in town for Japanese food. Authentic food made with care.
