Lives with Kihei locals, and a few visits celebrities Michael Douglas, Woody Harrelson, and Hulk Hogan depicted on the wall. Grill fish taco was fresh and delicious! The staff was very friendly and efficient with the line.
While the service is a bit ho-hum, the food is amazing. The Hana Burrito is the best Burrito I had in my life. Absolutely unbelievable as they have combined Mexican food with Hawaiian BBQ without affecting the integrity of the kitchen. Very recommended.
Good food with money. Large salads, Burritos, Tacos and so also available on children's menus. You can choose your salsa sauce at the bar. Bet your stomach will be full after lunch there. Few tables to sit around the restaurant itself.
Large fusion combinations of Mexican and Hawaiian flavors. Good selection of drinks, including standard cooking fountains drinks. Everything was quickly prepared and served hot. Parking can sometimes be limited.
When you first walk in, the place is semi small but cozy. Everything on the menu looked really good. We ended up getting the #2 and the #3; two chicken enchiladas and two tacos (I selected chicken). Both plates served with rice and beans. They did not disappoint. The tacos were flavorful, the grilled chicken was juicy, not overdone and tender. The Enchilada sauce was smoky, thick and had good flavor to it. It was a shame there wasn't too much on the plate. Rice and beans were also flavorful and not overdone. I enjoyed the sweet taste of the pineapple tomatillo. It caught me off guard but with the tacos, it was delicious. The chile arbol sauce was smoky and spicy, if you eat too much of it, your mouth will start burning a little. Their customer service was great and it was nice seeing the owner/manager actually focus on training a new person. I would definitely go back again. Kudos Maui Tacos!! Wish you had an establishment in Oregon!!
