The freshly prepared dishes crafted by talented local chefs frequently go unnoticed, but if you're fortunate enough to stumble upon one of these hidden gems, you're in for a treat. My personal favorite is the GOURMET DOG SHACK run by BUBBA. I never tire of this classic red food truck located near Kihei. Everything they serve is exceptional, and I’d choose to eat here over Mama’s Fish House any day of the week. Whether you’re a Maui resident or just visiting, I highly recommend giving this place a try. From garlic barrels and spiced shrimp slabs to classic American hot dogs, you truly can't go wrong here.

The food here is incredibly fresh and delicious! The place is spotless, the service is quick, and the flavors are fantastic. I absolutely love the coconut war and the Cajun dishes. You get gourmet quality at an unbeatable price! Don’t miss the Maui onion rings, fried zucchini, and frits. The jambalaya is outstanding—definitely a must-try! They also offer fresh fruit smoothies, which are terrific!

Awesome Dogs...the first time at the Shack was so good we just had to go Back to the Shack the next day!!!!
