On Easter Sunday evening cosimo was packed. the atmosphere was lively and friendly. we were 5 people, when starter 2 of us ordered an antipasto nostrano to share another tomaten soup. the suppe was in order, but the mixed antipasto was very disappointing: a few slices of ham (a bit too thick cut for parma), some Italian salami, and some that I would define american style pfefferoni', a few olives and a few shaves of parmesan cheese for 12.40. waaay overpriced! then we ordered 3 pizzas (mammaleone in my case, which was a special picture, with garnel, surgeons, pine nuts and cherry tomatoes), 1 thunfisch and a steak in pizzaiola sauce. all the main courses were nice, but nothing was out. on the other side the service was fast despite the whole house and our waitress was absolutely beautiful, and with an excellent sense of humor. we had a good night, but it probably won't be my favorite Italian in kiel.
Close to a busy crossing in feldtsrasse are parking a bit difficult, so they take a taxi from the city center. Suitable for the typical German visitor as a more refined restaurant, since cosimo offers for the hurriederen diner under conditions that are far from intimate but more than acceptable. the tables are far too close together and the place is on a premium. a good selection of international dishes is available, with some interesting weeps you can look at another opportunity in the wine shop directly on the street. some Italian dishes are available, but in the round this is a German restaurant with a few extra trims, therefore the average rating in my review. Sometimes it may be difficult to find a table, so if this is the place they have chosen, make sure they have a reservation. also here, catering for German guests, this restaurant lacks the delikatesse that they could expect from an upscale operation. do not expect anything extraordinary: eating is common and somewhat overseasoned, which means that what good ingredients could be is often covered in all-enveloping sauces. simpleness would be better.

On Easter Sunday evening, Da Cosimo was packed full. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. We were 5 people, as starters 2 of us ordered an antipasto nostrano to share, another the tomato soup. The soup was ok, but the mixed antipasto was very disappointing: a few slices of ham (a bit too thickly cut for Parma), some italian salami, and some that I would define 'american style pepperoni', a couple of olives and a few shavings of parmesan cheese for 12,40... waaaay overpriced! Following this we ordered 3 pizzas (Mammaleone in my case, which was a special - see picture, with prawns, courgettes, pine nuts and cherry tomatoes), 1 tuna fish, and one steak in pizzaiola sauce. All the main courses were nice, however nothing stood out. On the other hand, the service was fast despite the full house and our waitress was absolutely lovely, and with an excellent sense of humour.
